Surely, this buffalo and this flamingo are destined to be friends for life. To see it and to draw it is to fix it for us right now in our imagination.
The blind contour drawing will always delight. It is looking, marking, and, in this case, loving.

Once again, Jeremy, thanks for sharing your sketches and thoughts. I really appreciate them, especially because, in this case, I know the cat, dog, daughter sketched. I have wonderful memories of skiing in the bright full moon light back in the 70s on the side of Mt. Ellen, where I first lived after coming to stay in Vermont. Your neighbor, Steve
